I am a writer, journalist and humanitarian who specialises in the areas of conflict, human rights and children’s rights.

I have previously had work published by the German Development Policy Forum Digital Development Debates, along with organisations such as  Safe World For Women, IPF, and The Conflict Comment.

I have a Master’s degree in Political Theory from the University of Sheffield, having focused on ethnic conflict, genocide, human rights and the under-reported problem of child piracy, along with an undergraduate degree in Philosophy with Journalism from the University of Hertfordshire. 

I have travelled to Bosnia to meet those who had survived the genocide, including the Mother’s of Srebrenica, and previously lived in Tanzania and South Africa.
